|Community Response Network|
The Community Response Network is a group of individuals and organizations who work together to ensure a co-coordinated response to adult abuse, neglect and self neglect.
An adult is defined as someone 19 years of age or older. The network members try to reach out to the different groups in our community to ensure that the network has a broad and inclusive base.
What do they do?
2. Adults who have experienced abuse, and or neglect.
3. Family members, friends, advocates, care givers, community volunteers and anyone interested in helping to prevent abuse of seniors.
4. Community Organizations such as first nations bands, churches, support groups for people suffering from certain health care conditions, Associations for Community Living, RCMP, service clubs and cultural groups are encouraged to represent their particular segment of the population on the network.
5. Community based service providers in the health, justice or social service area.
